Task Status: Bugs

#F9844A

  • Filter Icon Missing on Filter Button

    Bug Description:

The filter icon is missing from the Filter button, making the UI inconsistent with the design and potentially confusing for users. According to the Figma or design guidelines, a filter icon should be visibly placed on the button to indicate its purpose clearly.

    Expected Behavior:

The Filter button should display the appropriate filter icon (e.g., funnel icon) as per the design.

    Actual Behavior:

The button is labeled correctly but does not display the filter icon.

  • : Missing Arrow on Employee Profile – Cannot Expand or Collapse

    Bug Description:

On a particular employee’s profile, the expand/collapse arrow icon is missing. Due to this, the user is unable to view or hide detailed information within that section of the profile. This functionality works for other profiles but is broken for at least one specific case.

    Expected Behavior:

An arrow icon should be visible on all employee profiles, allowing users to expand or collapse additional details.

    Actual Behavior:

The arrow icon is missing for a specific employee profile, and expand/collapse functionality is not available.

  • 404 Error Displayed on Applying Filter in Resource Planner

    Bug Description:

When a user selects and applies a filter in the Resource Planner module, the application throws a 404 error, preventing filtered data from being displayed. This disrupts the user workflow and indicates a broken or incorrect API/route handling.

    Expected Behavior:

Upon applying the selected filters, the Resource Planner should display the filtered data without any errors.

    Actual Behavior:

A 404 (Page Not Found) error appears after applying filters.

  • Hours > 8 Not Displayed in Red Color as Per Design

    Bug Description:

When the logged hours exceed 8, the value should be highlighted in red to alert the user. However, the hours are currently being displayed in gray, which does not indicate any alert or warning, and goes against the intended visual behavior.

    Expected Behavior:

If the number of hours is greater than 8, the text should be displayed in red color to indicate an overage.

    Actual Behavior:

Even when hours exceed 8, the text is displayed in gray color.

  • Non-Assigned Members Displayed in Filter Dropdown

    Bug Description:

The filter dropdown is displaying all users instead of only the members assigned to the selected project. This behavior causes confusion and allows selection of users who are not relevant to the project context.

    Expected Behavior:

Only users assigned to the specific project should appear in the filter dropdown.

    Actual Behavior:

All users (including those not assigned to the project) are visible in the filter dropdown.

  • Time Field Not Editable – Unnecessary Confirmation Popup Displayed

The time field in the form is not editable by the user. Additionally, a confirmation popup appears when attempting to edit, which is not required as per the design and expected flow.

    Expected Behavior:

    • User should be able to directly edit the time.
    • No confirmation popup should appear when editing the time.

    Actual Behavior:

    • Time field is non-editable.
    • A confirmation popup is displayed unnecessarily when trying to change the time.

  • Arrows are not required

Arrow icons are currently displayed in the UI (e.g., dropdowns, sections, buttons, etc.) where they are not required as per the Figma design. Their presence creates a visual mismatch with the approved design specifications.

    Expected Behavior:

No arrows should be shown in the specified sections/components according to the Figma design.

    Actual Behavior:

Arrows are visible in locations where they should not be

  • Task Form Date Section Not Expandable/Collapsible

    Bug Description:

The user is unable to expand or collapse the “Task Form Date” section. This functionality is expected to allow users to toggle visibility for better navigation and form usability, but the expand/collapse interaction is currently non-functional.

    Expected Behavior:

Clicking the expand/collapse icon or section header should toggle the visibility of the task form date section.

    Actual Behavior:

Clicking has no effect — the section remains either permanently expanded or collapsed, and user interaction does not work.

  • Double line displayed

A double line is currently being displayed in the UI where only a single line should be present, according to the Figma design specifications. This creates a visual inconsistency and does not align with the approved design mockups.

    Expected Behavior:

Only a single line should be visible as per the Figma design.

    Actual Behavior:

Two lines are rendered in the UI instead of one.
